You can cease to receive any future offers by replying to the text with the word “stop.”

1. The “The Futon Shop Great Giveaways” contest (hereinafter: the “Contest”) is brought to you by The Futon Shop Hamilton(hereinafter: the “Contest Organizers”). The Contest runs in Ontario [AND on the Internet AND/OR specify any other section of the Contest], from March 24th, 2014, at Noon Eastern Time (ET) to January 30th, 2015 at Noon EST, (hereinafter: the “Contest Period”).

 

ELIGIBILITY

2.This Contest is open to all persons residing in [Canada excluding Québec OR specify which province(s)/territory(ies) or region(s) if opened to residents of specific provinces/territories or regions only] who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence as of the first day of the Contest Period. Notwithstanding the preceding, the Contest is not open to individuals associated with the Contest, including the employees, agents and representatives of the Contest Organizers, (including their respective divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates and agencies), their advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers of prizes, materials and services related to this contest or any other party directly linked to the holding of this Contest (the “Excluded Individuals”). This Contest is also not open to the immediate family members of the Excluded Individuals. For the purpose of these Contest Rules, “immediate family” includes: father, mother, brothers, sisters, children, legal or common-law spouse and individuals with whom such employees, agents and representatives reside.

No purchase necessary. To enter, you must comply with the eligibility criteria set out in these Contest Rules within the Contest Period.

1. Entrants must comply with the following conditions, otherwise the Contest Organizers reserve the right to cancel one or more of their entries and/or disqualify the entrant from participating in the Contest

1.1 There is a limit of one entry per person per week. Additional entries beyond the one entry per week per individual are subject to disqualification.

1.2 If a person uses more than one mobile phone as an entry this is treated as a separate entry by that person.

1.3 By entering this contest your phone carrier’s standard texting fees may apply.

1.4 Entrants must comply with the conditions, otherwise the Contest Organizers reserve the right to cancel one or more of their entries and/or disqualify the entrant from participating in the Contest.

1.5 4 winners will be chosen throughout the entire contest duration. 1 winner will be selcted for each contest date as outline in section 2 below

Prize Awarded: Your choice of a our top of the line double pocket coil futon mattress or double memory foam futon mattress – Price Range from $199 - $399

1 winner selected Saturday January 31st, 2015 –

Prize Awarded: The Futon Package – Tahoe Futon - $399 Value

 

On the above dates at 11am EST in Hamilton,Ontario, at the office of the Contest organizers, a random selection of one mobile number will take place.

 

The prize awarded will be in accordance with the date selected.

If the winner does not pick up the phone a message will be left and a text message will be sent to the winner. The contest organizers will make every attempt to contact the winner. In the event the winner does not respond within 15 days a new winner will be selected from the pool of mobile entry participants.

There is a limit of one prize per person [AND/OR per household. In addition, a contestant will not be eligible to win more than one prize during a period of thirty (30) days with the contest period. Any potential winner selected in this Contest who does not comply with this condition will automatically be disqualified and another random selection will take place to designate a winner. An ID will be required when claiming the prize.

The odds of a participant’s entry being randomly selected depend upon the number of mobile entries received in accordance with section 1 above.

Prizes awarded have no cash value and are are non-transferrable. The value of the prize cannot be redeemed or applied to any other products offered by The Futon Shop.

 

HOW TO CLAIM A PRIZE

 

   3. In order to be declared a winner, each selected potential winner must be in compliance with these Contest Rules and in particular, the following:

 

The Contest Organizers must be able to reach the potential winner [by phone] within fifteen (15) days [or less only if circumstances are justified] of the date on which the potential winner’s entry was randomly selected;

Answer correctly, unaided, a time limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by phone by the Contest Organizers at a mutually convenient time [OR have answered correctly the mathematical skill-testing question asked on the Entry Form OR answer correctly the mathematical skill-testing question asked on a publicity release and liability waiver form (hereinafter: the “Release Form”) sent by the Contest Organizers];

If required, sign a publicity release and liability waiver form (hereinafter: the “Release Form”) sent by the Contest Organizers and return it to them within fifteen 15) days [or less only if circumstances are justified] of receipt.

By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Contest Rules. In the event the potential or declared winner fails to comply with any one of the conditions set out above or any other conditions set out in these Contest Rules, the Contest Organizers reserve the right to disqualify such entrant from the Contest and if time allows, a new draw for the prize will be held in accordance with these Contest Rules, until an entrant is selected and declared a winner, without affecting the order in which other prizes are awarded.
